The satisfaction no guaranteed
Humans are such creatures
Wanting to stay on top
Don't want to share their loot
Everybody knows
The politicians want to glow
With wealth and power
They think they are little gods
The public will hold them high
Listen to their talk and see their styles
When we want to meet them
They put up barriers instead
When they are in the corridor of power
No public will get in so easily to meet them
There will be checks and questions
We will become insignificant
Until the next election looms
We will become an important asset
The politicians will start to campaign
Seeing them will be like floating snow
