The timid stray dog
With tail between its legs
Roaming from house to house
Staring at the emptiness
Some other pet dogs
In the evening the owners let go
Ganging up to bite the stray dog
Yapping loudly quickly running away
The dog poo in the morning
Staring at me at the driveway
It isn't the first time though
It happens a few times now
The owners of dogs
Don't just rear for security
Manners and resposibilities run
Don't do a part forget the other
This is the attitude
Wanting to keep dogs
Yet forget about dog's poo
On the streets and driveways
The stray dog
Evening comes running along
Sniffing the air yet tail between its legs
Afraid of ferocious dogs attacking from nowhere
The dog owners talking away
Leaving the dogs roaming free
The dogs fight on stranger dogs
The territory nobody can claim
