the spices of life 50

By errick524

Rape of the forests; rape of the seas
The natural settings gone
By the unwanted clearings
Killing nature gifts

The gifts of nature
Fall from greed and corruption
By the people task to protect her
They fail for materialistic needs

The pollution stinks the trails
Along the streams and waterfalls
The brownish orange colours flow
Through rivers and oceans

It's a crying shame
The world leaders and politics
Nature has ganged up now
The punishments will flow

Do you hear the angry wind?
Do you hear the rushing waves?
Do you hear the seagulls call?
Do you know we have to pay?

The silent anger of nature
She will come knocking at your door
Sleep will be hard to come by
When you see her angry face
