The river flows
The residents look
The low shallow water
There is no danger
When the heavy rain pour
The river of abundant water
Some residents never look
They throw rubbish and plastic bags
They believe it is their choice
The river will carry the rubbish away
They forget to see the clogged river
Causing bottlenecks and floods
The old people and the young
They don't use their brains
Causing ill effects to the river
They think they save money
The town council officers
They shouldn't sit in office
They should walk the talk
Catch the culprits fine and parade them
In this way the culprits will be shamed
Learn their lessons they never forget
They should be told to take care of river
Be a responsible people on Mother Earth
