Once there was an apple
Left on the door step to fight the elements
Then came a kind couple got it inside
They kept it in the refrigerator
They didn't have the heart to throw away
So they thought they kept it in a cool place
In the cool place the apple stayed
For a long time baffling the couple in the house
It never decays
Years down in the cold room
The apple shines in bright
Every one comes to get a peek
Nobody can offer a reason
It is just natural revolving life
It never says die..................
Until it is time
One night the couple opens the refrigerator
Now old age has taken its toll in their lives
They cough a while before opening it
The cool air rushing to them
The apple isn't around
They look surprise
“What you think honey?”
“I think the apple says goodbye”
