the traffic lights of life

The old woman walks
Back straight in the morning
Walking at her leisurely pace
Keeping fit to watch the sunrise

The tricycle man
With his wares he pedals to town
Sometimes he brings his grand daughter
He sings a few melodies

The little girl will smile
On her grandfather's tricycle
Pedaling to the bus station
Selling his wares of old coins

Then there is the new daddy
Busy with his errands for his child
A child is born a father's joy
Running errands rest of his life

And the little kittens
In the cage to keep them running away
In the morning rise the sound of it
The dot on the quiet morning

In the far distance
The school morning assembly and talk
The teachers should ask themselves
Who will listen wasting time delivering it?

In school learn to read and write
Study hard memorizing texts
Outside world the ground zero
It is a different ball game

Yet life goes on
The stop for each one to go
What is written will be
As one's life takes shape
