The snake changing skin
Under the bushes out of the sight
The shadows of the sun
The camouflage enjoins the rays
The passersby don't see
They walk or cycle by
They have heard of changing snake skin
They thought nothing more to it
The cats get agitated
Meowing loudly to attract attention
Yet nobody seems to pay heed
They thought nothing of it
Privately they talk
The changing they want to initiate
When the opportunity knocks on door
They hide behind closed closets
