don't cry in sorrow

The employment gives you dignity
You don't have to hide your face
You know you have a responsibility
in the work force you are somebody

Yet behind your mind
You know there is the bumpy ride
You will never know when is the time
The guillotine of employment arrives

Once you can ride high
Believing you have made it
In the next instant you realize
You walk out alone with sadness in your eyes

When recession hit
Nothing is safe in the working circle
You will hear many let go
Into the unknown of losing value

Age is a factor
Finding another job will be difficult
With saving running low
You realize you have to scale expectation

Don't cry in sorrow
Don't hide away in a corner
You have been taught how to fish
Go out and make the splashes
