parliament should be respected

Parliament should be lively
Where the elected members can discuss
About laws and events happening
Holding the cabinet accountable

But no it isn't happening
Parliament seems like a rubber stamp
The laws are passed quickly
No time to debate and amends

The ministers are not in the house
Even the prime minister too
About bills of law and accountability
In Parliament immunity isn't the card

Members of the house
They can be charged of saying seditious things
As had been seen with Nurul Izzah
The cops came to put her in lock-up!

Parliament should be respected
The elected members must play the roles
Do not pass law in a hurry
You will do a disservice to the people
