The
Christmas tree
Standing
tall for weeks
With
colourful balls
Paper
dolls and lights
It
makes the night bright
Now
it has to retire
Into
the box go back to the store
Waiting
for its time
By
the end of the year
It
brings its festive mood
Forgetting
the problems in the nation
Light
up the mood for a few days
Believing
nothing will go wrong
As
we exchange gifts listening to songs
As
the faith blooms so will be the light
Now
everything goes back
Into
the boxes to the store
Hiding
it away for the next score
As
we look forward to the next icon
The
Monkey God yelling from tree to tree
“It's
a long while” he will say
The
Monkey business comes to play
