The Iron Butterfly
She imagines her
wings are clipped
She wants to fly
away and hide
Leaving the stage
away from public eyes
Maybe she feels her
meltdown
She suddenly finds
she can’t take criticisms
Hitting her hard
she wants to hide
Find her solace to
cool down and recharge
Once she runs to
hide
Giving her reasons
to stay away
Until the day of opportunity
strikes
She will fly back
to be on stage
Right now, the Iron
Butterfly
The going get
tougher she has to hide
She doesn’t want
the ill-feeling to hit high
So, she stays away
and cool it down
The Iron Butterfly
She has to face her
demons head on
Give them the
challenges on stage
But she doesn’t
want; she wants to cool her head
