The dams are going
to dry
The heat hits the
ground in the air
It tells us Nature
isn’t smiling
We have to wake up
walk a mile
The forests must
preserve
The decades of
timber logging
It has caused
damage to the environment
The profits of men
now Nature shows her anger
The dams are going
to dry
Certain areas have
no rainfall for many days
The farmers are crying
in misery
The farm lands dry
no water to irrigate
As Nature sends her
subtle messages
We mustn’t be blinded
by our greed
We have to think of
the future
Before Nature
really chains us for our bad
The dams are going
to dry
Without the rain to
fill up the dams
Water rationing
will happen
I had experienced
it for months
Don’t forget Nature
It is for our own
good
She has sent her
subtle messages
We must wake up and
correct it
