The back-alleys
Many will ignore
Thinking it isn't theirs
Until something happens
The back-alleys
Some set up cooking areas
Others plant greens
Others pile up rubbish
Everyone will see
The town council officers will ignore
No summons or written warning
Everything seems cool by the day
Until a fire breaks out
Until robbers climb up
Until firemen scold them
Everyone will start to open eyes
The back-yards
The untidy spaces
The houseowners don't see
It's the back alleys!
