the painted facades color the eyes

The painted facades color the eyes
The political leaders spin the beans
The colorful droplets dropping dead on the floor
The wholesome eyes watched as it goes away

The BN leaders talked so big about the small beans
Letting the public know how good they had been
Bringing projects to benefit the communities
Alas the taxpayers have no say!

The money collected in taxes
These are the ways it should spend
The people in the villages don’t know
Only 10% goes to them
The 90% goes to wastage or failed projects
Bailing out enterprises
Costing billions the BN leaders never tell

Look at Penang
Many projects stalled on the island
Nobody wants to take responsibility
The BN leaders just pretend

On the island the people complains
No parking areas in front of business premises
Simply drawing lines without reasoning
What the BN leaders say?
They will study
And this is the end of it

Look at the roadside stalls
Built by the local councils
Lying there feeling empty
Yet hawkers do businesses
They don’t bother to rent it

Now the BN leaders talk about bio-technology
Do they know the consequences on the ground?
They want money; they don’t listen to defects
It isn’t their baby; it is somebody else

The painted facades arise
The BN leaders want credit
But they don’t tell you
The billions went somewhere else!
