The ruler hasn't said a word
As his subjects put up banners
Do the right thing
The crisis deepens
As the state ministers suspended
By the House Assembly Speaker
Yet going around strutting it out
Feeling no shame going through back doors
The people aren't happy
For the way it was handled
The economy has hit the ground
The people livelihood crushes
Yet the ruler hasn't given a word
History will be said
How a ruler plays his role
In the interests of his people
It isn't about his rule
The mandate isn't for the present group
There is no legitimacy in government
It is time the ruler says a word
He can't ignore; he can't pretend
There is a constitution crisis
He has to act to bring sanity
In the lives of his people
