the silver state

Tin Mine by P. Robert Fulton
Tin Mine by P. Robert Fulton from flickr
Do you hear the tree speak?
The rain tree shading the people
In the silver state once known for tin
Now the shine is gone
Only big holes waiting to be filled

The constitution and law
Clashes by the learned people
Constitution stated so plainly
Yet decision isn’t base on it

The strong arm tactics
The uniformed agencies go for it
Obstructing the state assembly members
They too should be charged
For contempt of the House

These officers and judge
They must be hauled up to face the House
It is a serious offense punishable in 7 years jail term
The House Assembly can not be questioned in court of law
It is guaranteed in the FC section 72(1)

These are the comedy plays
Belittling the public sentiments
HRH sultan of Perak should relent
Make your move swallow your pride
For the love your people and state
Dissolve the state assembly
Let the people decide!
