the dark valley 12

Dark_Fantasy

The ruins of an empire
The heyday once it stood
Power used it for own benefits
Until the oppressed decided to up-rise

The branch of agencies flourish
All for the ruling empire then
The heads of these agencies
Association with alleged wealth

Power corrupts absolutely
Leaving others with crumbs
The betrayal of public trust
Running into the dark valley

Now the cracks appear
They want the public to understand
Nobody believe its calling
For the simple truth aren't neutral

They are the running dogs
Barking out in the darkness
Behind it the shadows pilferage
They don't raise eyebrows

The empire lays in ruins
The tombstones of the agencies
Burying them to feel the wrath of fire
The grumbling breezes; crying pain in vain

The new day will begin
Burying the old empire to pasture
The crooks in wolves clothing
Time to face the music
