One little birdie died
What reason I couldn't find

It was hopping around
Active in the cage.........

I was observing it
Right up to my lunch time

When I went out
The little birdies hopping around

When I came back
They were there in the cage

I observed them
Looking at the antics

Then I went away
Within about 40 minutes

One little birdie died
What reason I couldn't find

Now I buried it
In the garden return to its place
