The streets light up
Every part to keep it glows
Of the nights where demons hide
Let them come the people fight
We elect governments
To defend our rights
To defend the country's wealth
To defend her honour
We don't elect governments
To chase us bad; to treat us cruel
To kill jailbirds then allegedly say commit suicides
We don't elect them to make us miserable
The darkness runs
The decades we sold our votes
Stupidly believing the sweet words
And yet we are clobbered
Now enough in holding our anger
For we have been fools and stupid
Letting our votes gone for whipping
It's time to change the scenes
