merdeka(unity of all races then)
The cry of Nature
For the decades into our lives
We live through the generations past and now
Have we learned anything at all?
In our innocent eyes growing up
With full independence enjoying the freedom
The shackles of colonialism finally ended
The country is free beyond dream and words
The innocent years the young knew
Full of hope and dreams for the nation
As the years passing the young turning into adults
The eyes wide open it isn't dream or words
The divide and rule still exits
The British did so are the past and present government
The system suited them so well
The leaders only playing lip services
The progresses for the country
Nature laid bare and stripped naked
For the sake of profits and ego building trips
The country loses in the hands of the corrupted
The innocent eyes of the young
Knowing nothing feeling no remorse
Believing humans shouldn't be so wantonly stupid
Yet the truth brings home reality
Beyond Merdeka
The onslaught of divide and rule
Spinning tales and lies
The elites want it to stay
The agencies and rulers
Toying by the elites
They just follow what are asked of them
Until the institutions running low of moral
The cry of Nature
The imperfect instruments
The imperfect rules
And the imperfect humans
