Molly wagged her tail
When she saw familiar faces
Walking through the door
The jumping joy
It was a couple of months
She could smell the familiar scents
Now she knew she had friends to play
She wanted company
The memories came
In the dog's mind it couldn't erase
The jumping of joy; the wagging tail
Molly knew she had friends to play
She would sniff collecting scents
In her memory bank the matches made
Molly the small happy dog
She lived in Boulevard admiring the scene
When we left her
She had the sorrowful eyes
Ears drooping down
Knowing it would be a while
