On
the traffic light
In
the late morning dim shadows
The
two sports cars stopped
Revving
engines adrenalin pumping
The
red light in their eyes
The
power of devil doesn't care
The
itching to race each other
On
the long slippery road
The
passengers looking worried
The
drivers pumping up energy
The
sound of the revving engines
The
cool drizzling night....
The
light turns green
The
flag raises up in the air
They
drive off like crazy horses
Speeding
on the slippery road
The
air of night breezes
The
death singing in their ears
The
passengers shouting of fear
The
drivers ignore and race
The
sports cars hit some stones
The
cars turned turtle and banged to trees
The
metal twisted in heaps
Death
roared its way claiming lives the easy way
The
lives gone on that late morning night
The
sorrow and pain and memories for the living
They
aren't the last in this carelessness tragedy
They
will be others coming up in the rank
