When
age comes along
The
twilight years take us through
The
good and bad that will become
The
payback time before we are forgotten
When
age comes along
Parents
hope to get a good time
Living
with children some will go
Some
good deeds; some bad living
It
is the payback time
The
children now adults
The
parents now old and weak
Will
there be joy and lasting smile?
Some
aged parents feeling the blues
The
sons and daughters try to run
Leaving
them on the roads or bus stations
Some
lucky ones in old folk homes
Some
are made to work every day
Suffering
the indignity of maids
The
aged parents keep quiet feeling the pain
At
least they reason they have a roof over their heads
The
joy of growing old
Some
good; some bad
It
all depends how you do
When
you were young
