The
old Indian man
He
walks barefooted to town
Rain
or shine he will try
Alone
taking his small steps
He
will hang around
At
the toddy shop to dream
Into
the empty space of his life
A
semblance of peace he hopes to get
The
life he forgets
Now
old age has taken him
Only
his old habit he can't forget
He
has to get his addiction
Occasionally
he will get a ride
Into
town on a motorbike
But
his life of lost dreams
He
settles for his toddy
