it's a long way

Will the day come to be colour blind?

When we don't have to say white, yellow and black?

When we don't have to fight for places of our choice?

When the civil servants will carry work fair and square?

The country we live and work

Practically everyday of our lives

The rules and laws flooding around

The stalled traffic others suffering the jam

The unfair distribution of public funding

Even roads are lopsided to get repaired

If it is in the opposition held areas

Nothing seems to come that way

Yet our taxes will be collected

The people will pay by law

But developments of progress

Only the areas marked will get funding

The opposition hold areas

It will be a long time coming

Sometimes we wish we can decide our taxes

Pay to the State instead to the Federal

The Constitution needs to be amended

All public funding must be shared equally

There shouldn't be any discrimination

We all pay the same taxes
