When elections come our way

This is the time the leaders will come

The way of power; the wealth of greed

The humblest services most forget

On this time these leaders will do anything

Do we learn all the past elections?

We never seem to learn the truth

We are just the pawn when it is over

Then we grumble and complain

When the opportunity comes

We never take up the challenge

We never want to rock the boat

We never learn through the past elections

The lost opportunity gone

The cheating game and lies told

We never really listened to it all

We got peanuts the leaders got the power

Now we have to wait
