the gangsters

The gangsters of 70s and 80s
They were the Chinese groups
Into the rules and regulations
Ruled by the tiger generals

They were the operations directors
They built up the businesses
Chasing and plotting the fall of rival gangs
The police kept harrassing them

There were informers
Like everything else on money
The protection on later years
The stooges would sell their souls

The heyday of crimes
The gangsters slowly changed hands
The police kept on the pressures
Catching them and put them in prison

In time another race took over
The Chinese do work behind the scenes
The Indians run the operations
The rules and regulations totally ignored

Now we see the crimes
A different breed to create fear
The police don't play its role
They are chasing the opposition

It is now the police decided
After the wave of shooting deaths
To set up a task force to bring the crooks down
As usual the after effect of an event
