Religion is free

In the ancient times of the past

The authority wanted to clamp it down

Some even didn't want other religions

But their own kind to flourish

Other faiths followers

They didn't have a ride

They were persecuted and jailed

Some died trying to spread their belief

Paganism ruled

Christianity came

The rules of the game

The practises married into the new

In this way Christianity progress

In time Christianity divided into groups

Each leader never could agree with it

So today we see the branch out religion

Using the same book to talk about religion

Even Buddhism too wasn't spared

Different ways of the faith had spread

Each called it by different names

The contents of the book would be the same

The Buddha ways and his teaching

In Islam what's the different?

It has split into 5 groups

Each try to stamp its mark

Leaving the others to spread its wings
