The
flower women
They
stand by the makeshift tables
With
big umbrellas to shade the sun
They
hardly smile
The
flowers nicely wrapped up
On
display to attract the customers
With
price tags on each flower
The
flower women wait
The
long queue of people
Walking
up from the road
The
colours and shapes
The
All Souls Day Remembrance
Some
meet old friends
Some
meet long lost classmates
Some
just followed for the atmosphere
Of
the day to remember those who left us
Yet
the flower women
The
flowers on the make shift tables
Eyes
looking for customers
They
don't smile under the hot sun
