The
home of the departed souls
In
Tambun on the sunny bright day
The
Catholics arrived parked cars at the graveyard
Along
the side roads too
The
flowers people
They
set up stalls to sell goods
The
drink stalls a good business
And
a volunteer collecting alms and donations
The
crowd of people
The
yellow and black skinned
The
young and old different sizes and bodies curves
They
walk the path under the hot sun
Nobody
wants to complain
It
is the All Souls Day...
The
graveyard of flowers and people praying
The
home of the departed souls
The
names we find
The
departed souls we know
Choong
Ah Ngai, Chan Hon Por, Lena Woodworth
Charles
Woodworth and Jayapalan couple
The
prayer offered
The
remembrance of their times with us
Though
they left decades ago
The
memories stay in our minds
