A woman waves
As the helicopter flies
by
Another woman climbs
out
Standing on the roof
top of tiles
On the ground the flood
water
Rushing out reaching
for souls
Emptying the houses
nearby
Damaging crops and
properties
The floods on the heavy
rain
The rising tides and
the worrying faces
Nature bring her
dissatisfaction
The marks she will give
us to remember
It can be any country
Today it is in Japan
Tomorrow another place
We have to learn of our
sins
There are reasons
Don't blame the bad
weather
Don't blame the wind
Our sins we have to
mirror inwards
Today the helicopters
fly
Surveying the floods
Looking for trapped
people
But tomorrow will we
learn?
