Into a life of his own

He made his choice

He died from it

The Persian cat

He couldn’t forget his old home

Even a new Malay family came

With their cats

Comel stayed the whole day

Until he got charmed by black magic

He couldn’t see the house he used to get his food

As if the house isn’t there for him

Comel died on 1 December

13 days he never came to get his food

Neighbours said he was weak and maggots on his neck

The Malay family didn’t care for him

Only his picture to remember him by

Sitting elegantly in the patio

Now he is gone for good
