In my working life
Many Malays worked
with me
They didn’t show
disrespect
I told them to
carry out tasks
Behind my back I
wouldn’t say
Though I suspected
a few would do
Writing graffiti on
the wall
Telling me in many
unsavoury words
Somehow, I would
get the feedback
The bad apples
running around
Causing mischief
causing bad image
They were the ones
who couldn’t do well
I was lucky in
commanding position
Barking orders
getting things done
Working with 95%
Malay workforce
I had my share of
the back stabbing
The Malays I knew
They could be kind
and supportive
They could be bad
and couldn’t care less
They just wanted to
cause troubles
With decades of
working with them
I had seen the
good, the bad and the ugly
I found they could
be very good
I found they could
be truly lazy
