The Persian cat
I heard the neighbours
talking
About a smelly cat
and weakling legs
One neighbour
bundled him out
And let him walked
back where he came
The Persian cat I
suspected
He was in a daze
caused by black magic
It wasn’t the first
time he got hit
This time he got it
worst
He couldn’t find
his way
It wasn’t like him
to stay away for days
He would come for
his tuna fish
Waiting at the porch
patiently
But he didn’t come
I kept a look out
for him
I didn’t see him
anywhere
He wasn’t coming
out again
I knew where he
went
Back to his old
home again
He got hit by black
magic
He couldn’t eat his
meal
Yesterday I saw a
big black plastic bag
My thought felt it
was the Persian cat
He finally
succumbed to his hunger
The Malay family
causing his demise
Goodbye Comel
You gave me a time
to feed you
I always felt good
seeing you around
In the morning and
at night
