The black dogs
still running
The regime fell the
wagons stopped
But the black dogs
don’t realize it
In their minds they
still have roles to play
Sometimes we can
see them
Parading on the
road with banners or posters
Shouting hard to
get attention
No good Samaritans
come their way
Sometimes we see
them act foolish
The manners all go
to the wind
They bark
aggressively and ill-mannered
They feel they run
the country
The black dogs are
nuisance
They howl at night
under the full moon
They believe they
are the blood suckers
Draining out the
wealth of the nation
The black dogs are
afraid
They will look
behind their backs
They are worried to
get hooked up
Hanging up to dry
in the sun
