In the morning drive

Along the road for breakfast

A white kitten on the road

The kitten stands still

On the middle of the road

The young woman driver

She stops her car immediately

I too stop there behind her car

As one Indian motorist gesturing

The woman alights from her vehicle

The Indian motorist points it there

The woman bends and checks her car tyre

The white kitten stays on the wheel

Luckily for the kitten the car stops

The woman pulls out the white kitten

The kitten shows the displeasure showing her claws

The woman quickly releases the white kitten

It is by reflex action nobody wanted to get scratches

The white kitten runs towards safer ground

The woman driver resumes her morning drive

I follow behind her car looking at the other cats

Resting on the side road….
