waiting for the strong wind

The nest is properly threaded together
It takes a few days to get it up and ready
The humming birds will fly in and out
Carrying cottons, twigs and leaves

The nest on the bamboo branch
Staying on in comfort under shade of a roof
Though the wind will blow and sway the leaves
The nest holds without breaking it apart

Even strong wind and heavy rain
The nest keeps its hold to the branch
The branch can bend low by the wind
The nest will not separate it away

The birdies hatch and grow
The feeding the whole day through
In time the birdies grow with feathers and tails
One day it will leave the nest and fly away

But then there is another tweeting small birds
They will come to steal the cotton, twigs and leaves
Through the back door dismantling the nest slowly
If the birdies don't fly away they will drop out from the nest

It reminds me of the coup government
They stole the mandate from the people
They are the tweeting small birds
Stealing the chair on the unsuspecting PH leaders

Now the bd leaders are in control
Build their nest standing proud
PH leaders dropped to the ground
Waiting to hit it back in May, June or July
