The government looks another way
Perception it says
Why doesn’t the government admit it?

Police wrong approaches
Catching the rats let the snakes go
How’s that for perception?
Crimes so high
Ask the people
Ask the victims and families

It isn’t easy walking on the streets
In the cities and in towns
Crimes so high
Police give excuses
Lack of personnel

So if that it so
Crimes will mushroom
Police want easy way out
Let the criminals go; catch the innocents

Crimes so high
Collision in the trade
Corruption the roots of all evils
It pays homage
And safety is a perception
