DONT GO BLIND ON THE STREETS

Don’t go blind
When you open your eyes
See the surrounding
Know what it is there

Snatch thieves and robbers
They wait like cool cats
For the unwary rats to run
Then they come to pound

Day light with the crowd
The snatch thieves and robbers
They know their targets
Hardly people come to help

Don’t go blind
Walking on the boardwalk
On the 5 footways
Stay alert be wary of walkers
Pretending to ask directions

When the night falls
The black cats prowling
Amongst the dim lit neighborhoods
The neighbors keeping it all themselves
Trying to save electricity cost
See what they get themselves into

When house break-in
Shouting for help nobody dares
So dark in the compound
No soul dares to aid the helpless
Learn lessons well

Don’t go blind
On the dark streets with dim street lights
Be wary of walkers hurriedly walking
There is something you must be aware
Even motorcyclists walk facing the traffic
Be alert eyes open wide
Don’t say it won’t happen to you
It may do
