In a way working people gearing up for it
When the world financial turmoil hits
Every one knows it is coming
Package deals to stay afloat
Companies big and small will know
The hardship for the working class
It is better to get prepared
Don’t run away from facts
Here in Malaysia
The government says a different tune
Economic fundamentals are strong
They don’t say our economy ties to export markets
Telling figures of yesterday
It doesn’t solve the problem of today
The government should lay out plans
To ride the storm brewing now
The working class people know
The government isn’t telling the truth
Simulating packages on ad hoc basis
The truth must be told
Recession has hit USA
In no time it will spiral to her trading partners
Retrenchments start the ball rolling
There will be tears and sorrows
This is reality of no job facing morning
