The police must have PR
When dealing with the public
Demonstrators and political opponents
When they go to the streets

Orderly marches
Though without police permit
In the Federal Constitution it is our rights
To display our displeasures peacefully

Candle vigils police harass
Even gathered peacefully couldn’t be done
The police will charge aggressively
Saying these silent vigils disturbing the peace

When crimes hit high
On the streets where are the police?
The perception they have been taken
Into the allege tunnels of the darkness

Only the powerful and cronies
The police seem bending to give protection
No matter how many police reports
Nothing will see the light of day

Even now the perception is bad
Criminals though haven’t proven die in lock ups
Investigations dragging on and on
The police aren’t transparent
We pay them to do our jobs
Yet we get clobbered

We want them to be fair
Dealing with all strata of society
The perception is bad for them
When the police allegedly practice double standards
