The street hawkers doing roaring business
As people flocking back home
The roads suddenly choke with traffic
Of cars roaming looking for food and drinks
The reunion dinners and then fire works
Ushering the hopping Rabbit to the throne
The tiger roars its last angry thunder
As the baton passes in midnight.....
It's time the tiger needs a rest
Heal its wounds and its pride
The Rabbit in tiger's claws
The remnants never change as yet
The long track to normalcy
The changing will come
The groundwork lays
The Rabbit year plots
