The cloudy sky in the morning
The sun was sleepy after a long day
The fireworks displayed and the mandarin oranges
The singles threw into the lake
The orange heads popping on the night water
The full moon was at her best smiling her night
The people gathered singles wanted to find partners
The wishes as they hoped and celebrated
The long throngs of people
They came to watch and parade
The moon shining at her best
The songs and dancing entertainers
Then in the morning the sky was cloudy
Maybe it was the haze came too early
Yesterday the wishes and partying
It came to pass the moon shone the night
The daily routines grilling the day
Every one will be wide awake to work
The long throngs of people back to base
9 to 5 and graveyard work begin
