The
jetty on the island
One
look it seems sturdy to hold
The
weight of walking on the wood
Underneath
the kissing waves splashing along
The
boats arrive
The
loads of passengers disembark
The
jetty bounces carrying the weight
Nobody
pays to listen to the melody
They
wave; they smile; they take photographs
Underneath
the dancing waves move along
Splashing
with the white water with the wind
Nobody
pays to listen to the melody
Upfront
the tourist dollar
In
the eyes of the operators
The
poor maintenance on the jetty
It
is just a matter of time before it plunges in
So
the Bee Anne feeds its cronies
Throwing
cash as if it belongs to the party
The
people gathered and smile the money in their eyes
The
backbone is cracking nobody seems to notice
In
time the country will plunge in
The
way it is managed and leakages
It
is time the people should see
Bee
Anne has to go before we lose everything
