It never says it is easy

The best years when we were small

We never knew what hardship was

We only thought it was for tall people

They would be the ones to protect us

How wrong it was

When the growing up years came

We had to face our future

The steps to the world

We would make many mistakes

We would make fools of ourselves

The older generation would laugh at us

The greenhorns who came to reality

Out from the textbooks to face the harsh rules of life

It wasn't easy to take up the challenges

Some dropped out some gave up their lives

It was a story we would hear many times

Life we will cherish

We will live up every day

Once it is gone we mustn't regret it

Life is hard if we don't take up the challenges

We will push behind by the coming generations

New things; new ideas and adventures
