The
frogs are quiet
Suddenly
so still in the hot sun
They
can't find the words
Croaking
out in the light
The
temperature soaring
It
burns the skin outright
Those
who have sensitive skin
The
sunlight will penetrate it
In
the garden
The
frogs all disappeared
Once
during rainy season
Many
jumping about
Now
the frogs are quiet
They
have nothing to defend
Monies
seem to dry up
They
are keeping stock
The
Aedes mosquitoes breed
Even
with little water
The
frogs never come at night
So
the flying suckers have a free run
The
frogs are lying low
They
stay quiet for now
Too
much heat from the sun
They
find no voice to say
