The childish
display
The sulking in the
corner
Leaving reality for
a while
Hiding in the
shadows
We think children
do
When they get
scolded or deny something
They will shout or
cry and do anything to get it
They make a scene
so the parents will oblige
Even adults still
behave
When things don’t
go their way
They will show
their anger or displeasure
If they have the power,
they will hit the screw
When the adults do
something wrong
They will lie and
give excuses
They will not admit
it they will beat around the bush
Digging more holes
to fall for their own weaknesses
The childish
display
It will stay with
us
Like it or not this
is what we learned
Growing up through
time and experience
