The economy will not grow

In the next 6 months of the year

It will be a slow drive on the highway

As social distancing needs to be in place

Let the economy play on its own

There is nothing much we could do

Let the companies do what are necessary

To get the economy to move but at a price

Social distancing still needs to be adopted

It isn't like yesterday but it is today

Covid 19 has made the changes for us

Adopt the measures else we will get punished

The close borders; the close state lines

The economy will take a back seat

As we struggle to stay afloat and alive!
