The UMNO battles
Amongst the old and not so new
Branding each other hair
Black and white and bald headed

Then the Youth Chief declares
“I am not defending my position”
The hopefuls jump into the wagon
They too want a taste of the game

Now the coast is clear
The contenders grab the flag
Running with the breeze
Ears listening for the applause
Eyes glowing with heated exertion

The stomping on the ground
The silent whisper; the campaigns rage on
The Youth Chief a frog leaps to the prize
When something happens
There is a chance for the grand trophy
Displaying with power on the chair

What do we hear?
EGM and EGM
Away with the quota system
Let the party election be free
And UMNO Youth Chief post?
The drum beats rolling
“And I left a good job in the city……………”
