The clock ticking
Chiming for the wake
The lonely planet sings
Of women and men
Walking on the streets
Window shopping in the malls
Lonely people
Praying to get somebody
Some glue to jobs
Morning until the sun goes down
There is no time to play around
Body and mind so tired
No energy to go for a hunt
Some so free
Leave early from jobs
So much time feeling so alone
On the streets or the malls
Participating in social clubs
Hopping to get one
Eyes glow laughing out silly
Yet alone after the event
Some try in the internet
The global connections
Preying hunters abound
The Casanovas and losing dignity
Nights of tears darkness of shame
Yet we find the lonely people
Walking every where
Pinning for the best one
To hold and cherish lives
Chiming for the wake
The lonely planet sings
Of women and men
Walking on the streets
Window shopping in the malls
Lonely people
Praying to get somebody
Some glue to jobs
Morning until the sun goes down
There is no time to play around
Body and mind so tired
No energy to go for a hunt
Some so free
Leave early from jobs
So much time feeling so alone
On the streets or the malls
Participating in social clubs
Hopping to get one
Eyes glow laughing out silly
Yet alone after the event
Some try in the internet
The global connections
Preying hunters abound
The Casanovas and losing dignity
Nights of tears darkness of shame
Yet we find the lonely people
Walking every where
Pinning for the best one
To hold and cherish lives
